A modern kitchen that respects the heritage of this 1927 home with a few old-world European touches.
What We Did
The kitchen became the bulk of the addition to the back of the home which looks out onto a beautiful deck, vegetable and flower gardens. Large continuous counter spaces and well appointed storage solutions was key. The back wall cabinets are extra deep at 30” which makes for a wonderful surface to work upon as well as added storage below. The island contains fridge drawers for convenience as well as wonderful prep storage. The beverage area is adjacent to the dining room for easy service and the banquet is a cozy spot for this family to have many of their meals. A half bath was added to the space as well as the home formerly did not not have a main floor bathroom.

What We Love
The gorgeous Lacanche range and antique pendant lights as well as the open shelving above the sink. We also love the warm wood combined with the custom paint colour as well as the window pass through to the deck. So many amazing features in this kitchen.
